Introducing Ruby

Ruby Sait (she/they) is a passionate public speaker, MC, volunteer, and advocate for disadvantaged youth, focusing on out-of-home care, mental health, homelessness, and disability. Drawing from their own lived experience, Ruby brings authenticity and empathy to every space they step into, using their voice to uplift others and spark meaningful conversations.

With a Bachelor of Communications, Ruby is dedicated to amplifying the voices of young people and believes every story matters. They use their skills to highlight the challenges faced by disadvantaged youth, challenge misconceptions, and promote understanding. Ruby’s commitment is reflected in their efforts to create platforms where young people feel safe to share their experiences and be heard.

Ruby is the founder of The Open Letters Project, a community-driven initiative that shares messages of hope and support with young people facing adversity. The project creates a safe and inclusive online space where heartfelt letters offer encouragement to those who need it most.

Through all their work, Ruby is committed to creating inclusive, supportive environments where children and young people feel seen, heard, and empowered to thrive.
